New Selfie Scene for 360-Degree Selfie – iPhone X
Apple’s newest update features new artistic effects
that are designed with UI, and StarWars content. This allows users to take
advantage of clips that allow personalized and fun videos on their iPhone and
iPad.
November 9th, in California, Apple announced the major
clip update. It is a free app for iOs that allows user to make and share fun
and creative videos using their iPhone or iPad. These clips have Selfie Scenes
in addition to the artistic style transfer effects, along with a newly designed
interface which help users create videos wherever they are. Selfie Scenes is
something that most especially stands out. This feature places users into
animated, 360-degree scenes when taking or recording themselves. It utilizes
TrueDepth camera system on the iPhone X. It teleports users into busy cities,
exotic landscapes, creative paintings and the popular Millennium Falcon and
Mega-Destroyer from “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
Intro to Selfie Scenes:
Selfie Scenes allows users to optimize from 10
Apple-designed scenes which all feature innovative locations, characters,
visual styles, colors and effects along with the two extra scenes from “Stars
Wars: The Last Jedi.” These scenes all are full 360-degree experiences so it
allows the users to be submerged into the effects from all sides as they move
and get all different angles with their iPhone X. To add to the great effect is
the environmental sound effects which makes scenes even more captivating. The
new effects take advantage of the advanced machine learning and style transfer
technology that transforms any photo or video into a majestic pencil sketch,
moody oil painting or lively watercolor. Not only does the clips include Star
Wars content (stickers that feature animated versions of Princess Leia, Luke
Skywalker, Darth Vader, Chewbacca and others) but also from Disney which
include full-screen posters with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. These clips allow
users to have more personality to their Clips; this included 16 new
Apple-designed stickers and 21 new royalty-free soundtracks from indie artist
which automatically adjust to match the length of your video.
Newly Designed User Interface:
The newly designed interface is easy-to-use and even
better with a streamlined designed that gathers frequently used controls easily
within reach. A new Effects browser allows users to view and choose different
filters, labels, emoji’s and stickers. The labeled buttons allows makes it
smoother than ever to edit Live Titles and to add or change filters, mute, trim
and delete clips. The full-screen browsers allow users to glance at more of
their content while looking at their photo library or picking an animated
poster.
Support for iCloud:
Through iCloud, users can now gain access and alter
their Clips videos on their iPhone and iPad. The videos of automatically
uploaded and backed up to iCloud, which allows users to start a video on iPhone
and finish it on iPad whenever they are ready. Photos and video clips in iCloud
Photo Library are referenced by Clips, not copied, to make efficient use of
iCloud storage. The Clips adds support for Shared iPad, which allows students
to create amazing videos for both one-to-one and Share Ipad environments.
About Clips:
As stated above, clips allow users to create personal
video messages, school projects, slideshows, and mini-movies with features like
Live Titles which automatically generate animated captions through a user’s
voice and 360-degre immersive Selfie Scenes on iPhone X. Through Clips, users
can use dozens of filters, animated stickers and full-screen animated posters.
The app also included over 60 sounds tracks that are adjusted to match the
length of the videos and it uses the content subjects in a video to make
intelligent sharing suggestions through messages which ultimately makes it fast
and simple to share.
When Is It Available:
The 2.0 version of Clips is became available on
November 9th, as a free update on the App Store and is compatible with iPhone
5s, iPad air and iPad mini 2 and later models that are running iOs 11.1 and
later.
Clips 2.0 is available today as a free update on the
App Store and is compatible with iPhone 5s, iPad Air and iPad mini 2 and later
models, running iOS 11.1 and later. Selfie Scenes are only available on iPhone
X and style transfer effects are only available on iPhone 7 and later models
and 2017 iPad Pro.
